TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14 (2)

Kent County Council gives notice that Gladstone Road, Walmer will be closed to through traffic, on or after 15th June 2026 for up to 5 nights.

The road will be closed from Blenheim Road to Hamilton Road.

The alternative route is via B2056 Cornwall Road, A258 Dover Road, A258 The Strand, A258 Victoria Road, Gilford Road and Blenheim Road.

It is planned that the road will be closed between 18:00 hrs and 05:00 hrs each day.

This closure is necessary to enable carriageway patching to be carried out by Kent County Council.

This Notice applies when the relevant signs and barriers are on site and is valid for a period of no more than 21 days.
