The Amenity & Environment Committee has been created to consider any issues relating to the management of land and facilities within the Town not already covered by specific working groups/Committees or referred to it by the Council. This committee is responsible for the following:-

Allotments – Campbell Road
York & Albany Close Land
Footpaths & Public Rights of Way
Environmental Projects (Historic Information, Notice Boards, salt bins)
Dog Fouling, Waste & Recycling including provision of rubbish bins and dog bins
Tree Planting (liaison with Tree Warden) in particular the Dover Road Tree Project
Cycling Provision
Support of Youth facilities and provision.
