TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14 (2)

Kent County Council gives notice that Somerset Road, Walmer has been closed to through traffic, on or after 12th March 2025 for up to 21 days.

The road has been closed at the junction of Telegraph Road.

The alternative route is via Somerset Road, Downs Road, Cornwall Road, Hamilton Road and Telegraph Road.

This closure is necessary to enable burst water main repairs to be carried out by Southern Water.

This Notice applies when the relevant signs and barriers are on site and is valid for a period of no more than 21 days.
