TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14 (2)

Kent County Council gives notice that Palmerston Avenue, Walmer will be closed to through traffic, on or after 1st July 2025 for up to 1 day.

The road will be closed at the junctions of Downs Road and Churchill Avenue.

The alternative route is via Downs Road, Herschell Road West, Herschell Square, Wellesley Avenue and Palmerston Avenue.

It is planned that the road will be closed between 9:00 hrs and 16:00 hrs each day.

This closure is necessary to enable footway repairs to be carried out by Kent County Council.

This Notice applies when the relevant signs and barriers are on site and is valid for a period of no more than 5 days.
