Published: 25 September 2025
Dear all,
KALC is excited to announce the launch of Forever Active Kent – a new 3-year community micro grants programme designed to support and encourage older adults (aged 50+) to get more active across Kent. Your county needs you! Help Kent residents be Forever Active - News & Features - Kent County Council
These grants are available to community organisations delivering physical activity programmes that:
- Help older adults improve strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
- Provide safe, enjoyable activities close to home
- Reach underserved communities and those with the greatest need
- Reduce inactivity and promote independence and quality of life
This is a fantastic opportunity to work together to help older adults in Kent stay active, connected and independent. Join them for a free online information session to learn more about the grant, application process, and monitoring requirements. You’ll also have the chance to ask any questions.
