TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14 (2)

Kent County Council gives notice that York Road, Walmer will be closed to through traffic, on or after 9th October 2025 for up to 1 day.

The road will be closed at the junction with Canada Road.

The alternative route is via Canada Road, The Strand, Wollaston Road.

It is planned that the road will be closed between 9:00 hrs and 16:00 hrs each day.

This closure is necessary to enable carriageway patching to be carried out by Kent County Council.

This Notice applies when the relevant signs and barriers are on site and is valid for a period of no more than 5 days.
